This tool is coming soon

The service behind it is not enabled on Ydeora yet. In the meantime, you can use the tools already available below.

Audio or video file

Drop your file here, or

MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, MP4, MOV, WEBM… up to 200 MB and 2 hours

The audio track is extracted in your browser and sent in short excerpts for speech recognition, without being stored.

How it works

  1. 1Import your audio or video file (MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MOV, WEBM…).
  2. 2Your browser extracts the audio track, then speech is recognized part by part.
  3. 3Review, copy or download the transcript, or keep it in Ydeora.

Good to know

  • Files up to 200 MB and 2 hours. The audio track is extracted in your browser and the full file is never uploaded.
  • Quality depends on the recording (noise, overlapping voices, accents): check proper names.
  • A passage without speech (music, silence) produces no text.

What it's for

Voice notes

Turn an idea dictated on WhatsApp or your phone into text to rework.

Meetings and interviews

Get the text of a recording, then meeting notes with the summarizer.

Social videos

Transcribe an Instagram or TikTok video you have the file of.

Frequently asked questions

Is my file stored?

No. Only short audio excerpts are sent for speech recognition, then discarded. Nothing is stored unless you keep the text in Ydeora.

Which languages are recognized?

The language is detected automatically; you can also set it (French, English, Spanish…) for a better result.

How long does it take?

Processing goes part by part (about 100 seconds of audio each) and progress is shown. It depends on the file's length.
