Only public Reels can be reached by their link. For a private or subscribers-only video, import the file.
Your own Reels can be downloaded from the Instagram app (the video's "…" menu).
Respect creators' rights: transcribe your own content or content you have permission for.

What if the link doesn't work?

Private, deleted or subscribers-only videos can't be reached. Import the file: your own Reels can be downloaded from the app.

How do I download my Reel?

In the Instagram app, open your Reel, tap "…" then "Download" (or find it in your gallery if it was saved when published).

What if the video only has music?

Without speech, no text is produced. The tool doesn't invent a transcript.
